The Redland Foundation spent the Spring orchestrating several volunteer opportunities with new and familiar charities. We love to encourage small groups to get out and provide top-tier assistance to benefit those who need it.
Volunteers spent their day with Food for Thought, Hope & Home and Meals on Wheels. Food for Thought is a staple organization that provides school lunches, and our volunteers participated in their weekly packing days. The Redland Foundation visited Hope & Home to help prepare for their annual Teddy Bear Clinic, which helps familiarize foster children with medical professionals. Finally, we visited Meals on Wheels, where volunteers delivered pre-prepared meals to seniors and those who could not leave their homes.
At the Redland Foundation, we aim to get out in the community and do the work. Our mission revolves around Children, Teens, and those in Need, and our volunteers take pride in carrying out that mission. If you have a community project that needs extra hands or would like to nominate a charity to receive volunteer day help, send a request email to directors@redlandfoundation.com. We are always looking for new and impactful ways to help make a difference.
