A Night to Remember – Cowboy After Hours Raises 50k

On August 1st, the Redland Foundation proudly hosted another unforgettable Cowboy After Hours event, bringing charitable donors together for an evening filled with Western charm, generosity, and good old-fashioned fun.

This tradition rallies support for Douglas County 4-H youth, as they showcase their hard work in the Junior Livestock Auction.

Thanks to many generous donors the event raised an incredible $50,000 this year. Donations were used to bid on animals and make “add-ons” to increase the amount going to the kids. Any animals won by the Foundation were donated back into a secondary auction.

Whether it’s reinvesting in their next 4-H animal or saving for their education, every bid helps the kids.

We could not have done it without our amazing donors, who were able to enjoy VIP Rodeo Viewing, dinner, and of course the auction itself. Thanks to their support, the Redland Foundation and Cowboy After Hours continues to grow and make a positive impact in our community.

Mark your calendars for next August—Cowboy After Hours 2026 aims to increase its donation total and support for 4-H youth.
