Last August, generous donors gathered and raised $50,000 for Douglas County 4-H youth. Now in 2026, Cowboy After Hours is back, and we are setting our sights even higher. Presented by the Redland Foundation, this annual fundraising event once again aims to bring together generous donors for an unforgettable evening of Western tradition, entertainment, and genuine impact on the community.
At the heart of Cowboy After Hours is the Junior Livestock Auction, where Douglas County 4-H youth showcase the animals, they’ve spent months raising with dedication and hard work. Donor contributions are used to bid on animals and make “add-ons” to directly increase the dollars going to the kids. The auction helps kids whether they’re reinvesting in next year’s animal project or saving for college.
Sponsors can expect a meaningful evening, including a VIP happy hour, rodeo viewing from a private party deck, Douglas County Fair access, and access to the livestock auction itself. All while knowing their contribution is building the next generation of agricultural leaders.
